Greenwich Market is one of the attractions that Greenwich town centre is most famous for. This market has an eclectic range of stalls that provide a a unique shopping experience.

There has been a market in Greenwich since 1700, and it’s been at its current site since the first half of the 19th century. You will amongst its rows of stalls a fantastic array of arts, crafts and collectibles that you won’t see anywhere else. And at weekends, there’s about 20 food stalls offering a vibrant mix of taste sensations.

Market Schedule

  • Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: Antiques & Collectables and Arts & Crafts
  • Every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays: Arts & Crafts and Food Court.

As well as the market traders, there are an interesting range of shops around the interior and exterior of Greenwich Market.

The owners of Greenwich Market, the Greenwich Hospital Trust, are planning a revamp of Greenwich Market which would see the building of a new 100 bed “boutique hotel”.
