The Nevada St Deli has become Heap’s Sausages and they are now making and selling a wide range of sausages in the shop. I bought six pork and caramelised red onion sausages which I’m looking forward to trying out tomorrow morning.

[…] have heard nothing but good about Martin Heap and his bangers so I am sure it is well worth a trip. What I would like to say is that we had a splendid breakfast […]

We had a wonderful time in Heap’s Sausages in Greenwich. I visited at the begining of September with a group of 13 Spanish women, who loved the food, and even moreso the lovely service. I’m afraid I can’t remember the names of the people who looked after us but it was a beautiful Portuguese woman and her soon-to-be husband. As well as the food that we’d ordered, we were also treated to a sample of lamb stew and another sausage dish.
The combination of really good home-cooked food, excellent service, a lovely loo and the detail of the samples (including a croissant for me, being a veggie) has put the café on the itinerary for our next visit. We just hope that they’ve acquired a vacuum packing machine by then so that we can introduce Heap’s sausages to Asturias.
