Personally I have addressed all greetings cards birthdays Christmas etc to my family using Royal Eltham on the envelope for as long as I have written these, for all that as a Royalist I am as proud as any other of the honour of Royal being prefixed to Greenwich! However, to read the Greenwich Time "souvenir edition" you'd have thought that this development had happened because it was in the personal gift of .... Cllr Roberts.
