Event Description
Be transported back to a time of dance crazes, summer romances and '60s holiday camps as Mycenae House is transformed into Kellerman's Holiday Resort for a very special viewing of Dirty Dancing. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the film (aaah! I feel old!), it's your chance to channel your inner Baby as you learn the moves, catch live music and take part in camp activities before a full cinema screening of the classic film.
Themed cocktails, a full bar, popcorn and hot snacks will be on hand to help fuel your dancing feet. Doors open at 7pm. So, don your holiday outfits and book a ticket now at www.debbiesfightforlife.yapsody.com
Tickets are £12 plus £1 booking fee, 18+ only
(Please add both a film ticket & event ticket to the shopping basket when purchasing - total price is £12)
More details about the event will be added to the page soon...
The event is being held to raise money for Debbie Rocke, sister of Charlton local Nicola Rocke.
Debbie is a mum of three in need of a lifesaving operation that is currently unavailable in the UK. Debbie is debilitated by an unstable spine which is causing compression of her brain stem. This means she is currently unable to walk unaided, suffers with chronic pain, and has a whole host of other neurological symptoms that make life very difficult. Without this operation, Debbie’s condition will continue to deteriorate. The operation cost is £60,000 and Debbie’s family and friends are organising a series of fundraising events to help her reach this target.
