Description

A guided walk showing how the Second World War and the London Blitz in general affected the local area. Starting at All Saints Church, visiting Blackheath Village, The Paragon, Blackheath, Greenwich Park, The Royal Observatory, The Old Royal Naval College, St Alfege's Church and finishing in Park Row, Greenwich. The walk is illustrated with 'Then & Now' comparison photos and artefacts from the period. Your guide, Steve Hunnisett is a member of The Guild of Battlefield Guides. The walk lasts approx 2 3/4 hours and costs £ 7 per head.
