Gilbert & Sullivan's Patience

Description

Take a walk on the Wilde side in Greenwich this November
The Centenary Company returns to Greenwich Theatre with its fully staged and costumed production of Gilbert and Sullivan's satirical musical Patience. Set during the Aesthetic craze of the 1880s, Patience's depiction of frenzied female fans and the often unscrupulous objects of their adulation remains deeply topical.
With a 30-strong cast and 14-piece live orchestra, Patience reunites the creative team - director Jerry Pinel and music director Elinor Corp - behind last year's hit production of The Pirates of Penzance and No Cards.
Formed in 1995, the Centenary Company is a Greenwich-based amateur performance group, specializing in the shows of Gilbert & Sullivan.
