Action Against Hunger is a charity in Greenwich and part of an international organisation committed to saving the lives of malnourished children and their families in over 40 countries worldwide. One of the leading organisations in the fight against hunger and malnutrition, our teams provide for people's immediate needs when food is scarce and provide families with the tools, seeds and support they need to build a sustainable future.



On Tuesday 2nd March we are holding an evening to showcase our life saving work in Haiti. We have been present in Haiti for over 25 years and immediately mobilised emergency operations to help the quake survivors in Port-au-Prince. We will give a presentation on the current situation and what we are doing to help. The earthquake devastated the lives of people in Port-au-Prince and we are still working hard to make sure that they have access to food and clean water.



We will provide drinks and nibbles during the evening so please do come along and join us on Tuesday 2nd March 2010 at 7.00pm, at Action Against Hunger head office, 1st Floor, Rear Premises, 161-163 Greenwich High Road, London, SE10 8JA. The evening will last around an hour and you will have the opportunity to learn more about the charity and meet others from the community.
