Event Description
The Friends of East Greenwich Pleasaunce started back in 2006 and in the last seven years have achieved some significant changes to the park. Some a little controversial such as the DOG FREE ZONE, some very welcome like the opening of the CAFE. We now have lights around the perimeter, extended opening hours and two orchards have been planted.
We need more feedback from those that love to use the park or even just overlook it.
WHAT NEXT? We have some money in the bank and a few ideas of how to spend it.
We have our usual events to organise like the SUMMER PICNIC.
Would you like to be part of the debate? Come along, share your views on the future of your park, join the committee if you would like to serve your community or feel free to just listen to the discussion.
No matter what level of involvement you choose it would be great to see you at the Annual General Meeting so that we know there is local interest in continuing to protect and improve our very special park
We have kindly been offered the free use of Christ Church on Trafalgar Road, SE10 9EQ to hold our AGM on Tuesday 28th January at 7.45 for 8pm. Its a lovely modern building, warm and comfortable.
AND the committee are even offering a free drink afterwards at the Vanburgh Tavern for those who attend.
So please don't just sit in and watch Holby City, get out and have your say and meet a few more park users.
Even think about coming on the committe
