About the O2 Arena in Greenwich

River Thames at Greenwich

What started life as the Millennium Dome, built for the celebrations in 2000, has been reborn as one of the hottest venues in the UK. The O2 arena, as the Dome is now known, plays host to superstars from around the world as they entertain their fans and has been voted as the most popular venue in the world.

As well as top quality music, the O2 has been the setting for some incredible action such as the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, international polo and it was even a host venue during the London 2012 Olympics.

And if all that wasn’t enough, there’s brilliant exhibitions like the British Music Exhibition, and a plethora of bars and restaurants including Pizza Express, Raan, Wasabi, Nandos, Jimmy Monaco’s Love Burgers and Las Iguanas. You could even walk over the O2 now with their Up At The O2 attraction!

Getting to the O2

The O2 Arena is right next to North Greenwich tube station which is on the Jubilee Line. If you’re driving in, there’s space for 2,000 cars.
