The Anniversary at Greenwich Playhouse

October 13, 2008 By Rob Powell

The Anniversary at Greenwich Playhouse, October 14th – 9th November

Flat Pack Productions are back at the Greenwich Playhouse following last year’s successful production of “A Christmas Carol”. Collaborating with director Joseph C. Walsh, Flat Pack present a revival of the classic black comedy The Anniversary.

Set in South London: it’s Mum’s wedding anniversary, and despite the fact that Dad has been dead for some years, her 3 sons are obliged to gather for the annual celebration. Two of the sons have something important to tell Mum and so begins an evening of lethal, verbal humiliation, bullying and bribery – resulting in moments of delicious comedy and toe curling embarrassment for the family and audience alike.

Tickets:£12; £10 (concs.)

Box Office: 020 8858 9256; boxoffice@galleontheatre.co.uk
