Is that a piece of art in the foreground? Who is it by? Also, what side of the river is this, the north side right?
Don’t think so, that’s the ex-David Beckham Academy on the right isn’t it?
I’m also curious about the birds nest of wire.
It’s the south side of the river near the O2. The sculpture is Quantum Cloud by Anthony Gormley and commissioned for the millennium. If you look at it from the right angle you can see a figure in the centre.
It’s just next to the pier for the Thames Clippers, on the east side of the peninsula, looking south.
